I work with people with Parkinson's disease to improve their quality of life, and this goes far beyond just medications. Educating people with Parkinson's and their families about the disease is essential in improving their outcomes. Community outreach programs such as exercise classes, group therapies, and social events helps people with Parkinson's thrive together. I am grateful for the work that P4P does to support these efforts, and to support pilot research at Johns Hopkins that may lead to better treatments and even ways of slowing or stopping the disease. I hope you will join me through your donation or by lacing up those running shoes to support P4P's great work!
