Back in Person - Let's Have a GREAT Year
It all started in 2009 with the first year that Pacing for Parkinson's participated in the Baltimore Running Festival. Team DeLuca got involved as a way to honor our father/ grandfather Gene DeLuca and his 23 year battle against the progression of Parkinson's disease that began in 1982. The Johns Hopkins Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders (PDMD) Center supported Gene and our family throughout the very difficult journey and as a result we cannot be more grateful.
So here we are - our 14th year on P4P. While Paul is no longer the chairman, we remain close to the P4P leadership and JHU progress towards battling this disease. This year we may break away from the Tent on race day and walk (running not in the cards this year) the 5k.
